Waterproofing will ensure that the canvas shoes remain durable and clean during the time they are worn. A spray on containing fluoropolymer is required to waterproof the shoes. Take care to avoid overspray drips or penetration onto surfaces not being treated. This fabric is manufactured with a poly vinyl chloride coating as well as anti mildew and uv protection to combat against vigorous weather elements and formidable physical wear and tear.

Vinyl coated fabrics are a good choice for bimini tops but unsuitable for enclosures such as sail covers or boat covers.

Our 18oz vinyl fabric is an industrial coated fire retardant pvc vinyl material known for strength and durability. Please call for bulk wholesale discount pricing. Unless it is well ventilated condensation wets the underside of the fabric eventually leading to mildew. It has a soft hand and aesthetic smooth matte finish for a refined clean look.

Our 18 oz pvc vinyl is sturdy and made to handle extreme outdoor conditions and heavy stress. For awnings and boat covers we recommend our outdura marine canvas or industrial vinyls. Apply enough waterproofing with sprayer brush or sponge to thoroughly wet top surface. The vinyl coated fabric is waterproof for the life of the fabric but unlike traditional canvas it doesn t breathe.
